Choosing a Rental Violin That Actually Fits
By Dominik Przywara

The single biggest predictor of a student staying with the violin in the first year is fit. An instrument that is too large, with a poorly cut bridge or warped pegs, makes every minute of practice harder than it needs to be.
Our rental program starts with a sizing appointment. We measure arm length, check posture, and listen to the student play a simple open string. Only then do we recommend an instrument — and we re-check the fit every six months as children grow.
